South Luzon Loop: MATNOG,SORSOGON

By 11 in the morning, we were already gearing up to leave Cagsawa Ruins. Read my previous story HERE.

Rain again was our problem. We stopped by this random store when I saw this signage. Apparently, it's a sign for a nearby school. I'm not sure what Ticol means in Bicol but it surely has different meaning in Manila. I wonder what are they teaching the kids here. hehe

Nothing special happened after this stop. It were all just a bunch of mountain views so I have no pictures. We didn't stop for lunch at 12nn, instead we continued to travel until we reached the port of Matnog at 1pm. This was what we came here for. D's dream is to have his picture taken here -

I have to support his dream too!

After that, we had a hard time looking for somewhere to eat because almost all of the stores were closed already as it was nearing 3pm (which in Catholic society is the death of Jesus Christ). We were very thankful when we found this eatery in the market. The food was surprisingly good. Look at this -
that much rice!

Since we knew that we will not use the bikes anymore for that day, we took a shot of D's GPS stats -

DISTANCE TRAVELLED: 204 kms

I'll put our next destination in separate post. It's too special to be squeezed in a single post since its our final destination!

Wait for the beach post please,
Yosh
