It's his birthday

Sometimes I hate myself for always remembering birthdays. Like today. If only I can erase your birthday in my memory bank, I will Papa. After all these years I still hate you. Arrest me now, forgiving saints. I will not try to make you understand. I just really hope you know my story. But since it's Monday (I want to start my week right), I will choose not to bring bad vibes to all of us.

Enough of this! Come in Good Vibes! Happy Monday everyone!

#RIPCoryMonteith

Devastated. That's exactly what I felt last night when I heard the news. Why?! He's only 31.

After a few minutes of denial, I went online to check if the news were really true. And sadly, it was. And then tweets of speculations that drug abuse might be the cause of his death flooded my twitter feed. He was a drug addict, that I cannot deny. He was put in a rehab as early as when he was 19. Just last month, news that he re-entered the rehab was all over the internet. I was so proud of him. At least he's doing something about the addiction. But then I read tweets saying You-deserved-that-you-addict-you or something like that tweets. I was furious! Who's insensitive bastard will say that to someone who just died! Respect people, respect.

And I can only imagine Lea Michelle right now. Hayy I wish I can share her pains. #StayStrongLea

You will surely be missed Finn Hudson.

Devastated fangirl,

The Creation

Thinking Genesis? Oh no it's not a biblical post. I'm just sharing one occasion we're celebrating today (and it's not the Fil-Am Friendship Day). It's our 6th year BF-GF Anniversary! Yey!

I posted a picture on Facebook regarding this (see below). To explain this post's title and the photo's caption, our relationship started in Laguna. That's July 4, 2007. But if we were to trace it further back, it actually started (as in right from 0 feeling to I-feel-something feeling) in China when Sir Luis sent the two of us for trainings. Read our full story HERE.

It all started with a Big Bang! Cheers to 6 years of cray-cray-crazyyy goodness! ♥ — with Darnz Logus.

Oh yes we're still celebrating this although we're married already. Aminin it kinda bring kilig feelings pa rin! :)

Always in love,
Yosh

Joining the 'Selfie' bandwagon

Is ME!! :)

I made this picture right after our haircut over the weekend. I so love my blow-dried hair that I suddenly remembered a distant cousin who I unfollowed on IG and FB because of her excessive Selfie. I have nothing against Selfie. I understand the idea of you wanting to flaunt your asset (I hope it's your face) all over the online world. I just cannot take those who post the same shit everyday. I mean it's not enough that you only change your clothes, try changing your hairstyle and lipstick color also. I'm no fashion or beauty consultant but I'm sure it's for the best.

Ohh by the way, I made a very catchy caption for that picture -

Matry nga yung super hawi ng buhok. Tapos ipophotoshop ko din! Tapos hashtag Selfie. Ilang likes kaya? :))

As of this writing, I got 27 likes already. That's just 17 hours ago! Haha! Effective! :D

Wish me more selfie to come,
Yosh

Hubby's 1st birthday with me

It's FUN!

...Oh well at least from my point of view. I'm not sure if D enjoyed it as well. You see, he sort of like had other plans which never happened because of Typhoon Gorio.

Anyway, his birthday started as early as the start of June. I've been treating him to some stuff like movies and eat out. But if I may narrate one of those that made impact, I would say it will be his birthday gift. The kid has a wish list! Oh well, I actually preferred it. That way I can get him something he actually likes. Wanna see his list?
At first, I thought 'Oh good, I can get him the Shoe Cover'. Very cheap diba? But then when we were to buy his gift, he said if I choose the Shoe Cover I should get the Slippers also. It's bundled daw! Wow! Haha! I ended up getting the bundled ones anyway. It's still cheaper than the other two.

By Friday last week, his mother sent him a text message that she and D's sister's family will eat lunch at our house on Sunday (D's actual birthday). There goes the problem because we were planning to head to the beach that day. Since the plan has been settled weeks before, I suggested we invite them over for dinner on Saturday night so we can proceed with our plans for Sunday without hurting anyone's feelings. It's also a good opportunity to celebrate his special day with friends.

Despite the rain, our party on Saturday night still happened. His family brought some food while I also cooked some.

We're on our half year mark!

It's last Friday actually. So many things has gone around last weekend so I wasn't able to blog. Excuses! Anyhoo, here's what I posted last Friday on Facebook -

6!
 — with Darnz Logus.

Whoa! We're already on our 6th month together. Happiness! Like I said last month, it was never perfect (who's marriage is?), but it is definitely worth it. Every single second. We're still on the phase of adjusting to each other's squirm, those we didn't know the other possess until we live in the same roof. But I have great hopes for us. I know (and we promised in our wedding vows) that we will push through it all together.

Looking forward to counting years,
Yosh
