New Direction for 2015

Oh no it's not the famous teenage boyband! It's the new direction I'm planning for my life this 2015. I was so inspired by Bianca Gonzalez' IG post about having a theme for the year. Hers is Build2015. I was thinking of another word for my own year's theme but I can't think of anything else more fitting than Bianca's. We are on the same page of our life now - newlywed (I'm at 2 years already but it still felt like yesterday! Pagbigyan! Haha!), our career's getting better and we have so many things we want to build this year. So I copied her theme. Hehe! Sorry Bianca! I hope you don't mind. And to always remind myself of that motivation, I made it my desktop background. Neat eh?

And the most efficient way to have a direction is to get a planner. I know! I know it's late! Others got theirs November or December last year pa. But alam nyo naman, hindi ako coffee drinker so naturally my planner will be store-bought. I researched and researched for days but I can't find the planner of my dreams so I decided to check the stores personally. I still can't find anything. Because andami ko na nasasayang na days, I decided to get this planner from BDJ.

Nice cover noh? But the inside is not me. It's too colorful for my taste. And it has a lot of commercials inside.

It stayed in my bag for days na hindi ko ginagalaw. Sayang ang pera! So I decided to give it as a gift to my friend instead. So now I'm planner-less again. I searched the internet again, and stumbled upon the planner from Muji. It's simple and commercial-free. Perfect! I decided to get the red one for a pop of color. More inspiring!
It has a month view which I like so I can glance at my schedule for the whole month.

And a weekly view! With spaces for individual days so I can write freely what I need to accomplish. Across the page there's a free space so I can doodle about anything.

It's size is perfect also. Just the right size so it can fit my purse even on weekends! Nice nice! If there's one thing I wish Muji will improve is its paper's thickness. It's a little bit thin so I'm worried that my colored pens might bleed to the other side. Other than that, it's just perfect for minimalists like me. Did I just say perfect again? Hahaha!

OTHER NEWS! My baby Kira is showing signs of puberty na! His penis is starting to come out and it's all red! I was terrified at first kasi akala ko nagdudugo. But then D said it's normal daw. Waaaaa my baby boy is binata na! Sorry for this gross picture, I just wanted you to see then tell me if it's normal.

Now, to neuter or not? Decisions, decisions!

Feeling brand new,
Yosh

My rest of 2014

Hello! Grabe I was so busy the last quarter of last year that I forgot to blog even once! My last post was my birthday pa. Anyway, it will be too much na if I will blog pa all that happened in my life during my absence so let me share with you my IG posts na lang. Dun kasi always updated.

I'll just remind you that the next pages you'll see will be pictures galore ha? Highlights lang din kasi masyado marami pag post ko lahat. Hehe! So let's roll!

4 days after my birthday was these 2's birthday naman -

End of November, we celebrated November birthday celebrants in the office. So that included me. :)

Last Sunday of December naman, we attended Lele and Waks' baby's Christening -

December 6, Teradata Cares Manila, which I am co-heading with Genny, gave a Christmas Party for the children of Cancer Warriors Foundation -

I also finished my loan last December! Sa wakas! My only debt now is my credit card which I promise to pay off this month. Yey!

We received our 13th month pay last December 12, so me and my lunchies enjoyed fine dining for lunch. Mejo bihira na namin ito gawin since tipid-tipid kami lahat.

On my last work day for 2014 which is December 17 (kasi nakaleave na ako the rest of the year! yey!), my practice celebrated our Neon Christmas at Kuppa in BGC. I wasn't able to take pictures na of us kasi punong-abala ako. Same as with our company's party din last December 5 naman sa Bench The Playground, no pictures din ako due to TDCares stuff din. Argh

December 20, my girls and I celebrated early Christmas at Ace Water Spa and then had lunch at Cafe Juanita.

Then later that day din, I went to my grade school reunion. 4 lang kami representative ng Section 1 from Batch 97 ng MES. Aww pero fun din naman.

December 21, it was Ava's Christening. Tita Ninang na naman!

December 24 was the official start of D's vacation. What he first enjoyed? Long sleep! Look at this, it was taken at 9 in the morning na. Usually 4:30 AM gising na kami or on Sundays late na yung 7AM na gising namin. Ang saya nya lang!

We had a Noche Buena dinner at my Tito's house then the 12 midnight Noche Buena at D's sister's house in Cavite. I wasn't able to take pictures again! Ano ba?!

By 2AM on Christmas day, we were already on the road to have our Christmas/Anniversary getway up north. Our first stop was Sagada then we decided to go down to Baguio the next day.

We celebrated Media Noche at D's folks' house. We brought Kira with us! Weee

New Year's day, we spent it at my side of the family naman. We attended our yearly Cruz Family Reunion. No pictures again.

Then just yesterday, on the last day of my vacation, we took my cousin's car to Antipolo to have it blessed then had early dinner at Tagaytay.

So that concludes my very long holiday vacation slash my rest of 2014. How about you? I hope you enjoyed it like I did! ;)

For 2015, I have no New Year's resolution this year since nabebreak ko din naman. Hehe! I just copied Bianca Gonzales' idea to have a theme for the year. That will be my motivation. I copied her's din since yun talaga ang aim ko. BUILD2015. Build a family (hopefully!), build my life savings, build a better career, build a more intense travel diary, build better friendships, among others.

Refreshed,
Yosh
