[TYR@5] Day3: Bohol Ride

TheYELLOWRoadtrip @5: DAY3 Bohol Ride

We started the day enthusiastic. Only to change it to disappointment after we saw the scene outside. The beach was so gloomy. aww. We went to the frontdesk to ask for hot water for our milo and to buy some hot noodles. We ate our breakfast by the beach while waiting for Kuya Tatsky's text if the tour will push through.

Unfortunately, it didn't. We have to accept it because we didn't want to die either. hehe. So we just got our butts up and strolled the beach instead.

And it was a perfect time to explore the famous Bohol Beach Club! Yey! The guards were generous enough to let us into their beach.

After some time, we got tired of watching Korean girls playing in the windy shore. So we headed back, inquired about DBR2's pool. But we were asked to pay P150 each for the pool plus P100 each for entrance. aww that pricey?! No way! Then we saw the rent a motorcycle sign. It has always been D's dream to explore Bohol via two-wheeled vehicle. So that was the perfect time to do it. We got so giddy when we managed to rent the exact same motorcycle model D have in Manila. So I posted a picture in Facebook, with caption - 'Pioneering Club CB110 Bohol Chapter. With everything improper!' Because we were only wearing shorts, sando and slippers! We initially wanted to just drive around like foreigners. But we thought of Danao Adventure Park. We chose not to do the Danao tour because of its price! A whopping 3k for transpo only? That's exclusive of the Rides Rate. Nah!
We got confused with Danao, Panglao and Danao where the Adventure Parks were. Damn GPS! We chose to follow the later because it was more reasonable for the 3k transpo price. We were then pointed to the same route we took during our Land Tour - Danao via Loboc, Bilar, Carmen. So we took the chance to take pictures in the Man-made Forest as we were passing through.
After the Chocolate Hills in Carmen, the road became rough. I managed to took a picture of the best of the rough roads. I literally cannot do it in the worst parts. So just imagine the picture below as the best road.
After 3 hours of long driving, we reached Danao Adventure Park. The day before, D was talking about wanting to do the bungee jump thingy. But when we reached Danao, he chickened out on the Plunge. Unfortunately, there were also no people around so we weren't able to see how it works. After touring the site, we just decided to eat at their restaurant. In fairness, their food was superb. They just need to use pressure cooker to soften the beef.
At past 12 noon, we continued our travel. This time we took the shorter and better way to Tagbilaran City - via Sagbayan-Corella road. We already asked for help! This was were I already felt the sun burning my skin. My legs were in total heat. Oohh D's complaining about his shoulders. Lesson learned. Never to ride without protective gears again.

Somewhere along the way, we saw this awesome view of the Chocolate Hills. We were literally at the foot of it. So it was really a good choice to prefer zipline than ATV during our yesterday's land tour. Because we can see it anyway.
We reached the city alright. We first dropped by the Pier to have our ferry schedule rebooked. We were very positive that the Seatour will push through the next day just by judging the sun that time. Then we headed to Island City Mall. It has always been our tradition to buy Island Souvenir shirts from our tours. Unfortunately, noone's manning the printing in Loboc Branch. So we went to the mall.

After that, we decided to just spend the rest of the afternoon by the beach.
reaching for 5!
kicking for 5!

and a lot more sweet nothings!

Five!
After sunset, we just rinsed the sand in our bodies then when back to DBR Grill for a surprisingly heavy dinner. We loved their White Marlin and Green Mango shake!

We rested for the night hoping for a better 4th of July weather.
