Beijing Day 4: Beijing Zoo and Beijing Olympic Park

This day was the last full day we had in China so we decided to make the most out of it. I've told you in my earlier kwentos that our hotel is one hour away from Beijing right? Well, we interviewed our friend kung pano sya pumapasok sa office sa Beijing. She told us that she usually takes the subway. Oohh interesting diba? So we asked them if we can skip renting a cab for our last day then just take the subway. Sige daw! Yey!

This was the entrance. Parang pinagandang LRT2 lang -

The surprising part was 2 yuan lang sya anywhere! Around 14php lang. Wow!

Kahit saan dito oh!

At bawal daw magsuicide sa kanila. May harang ang railway so di ka makakatalon. Hehe!

Hehe

Ayun na sya!! Honestly, I'm a little bit disappointed here.

Overrated! Pero yung mga Chinese preschoolers tuwang-tuwa!

We decided to stroll around the zoo to check the other animals na lang. Bears!! Walang ganto sa atin kasi.

Cute ba? Noooo!

Meron ding Polar Bears (yung white) pero pirming nakatalikod. Etong ngang cheetah na to nakatalikod din e. Guess ano pinipicturan ni D dito? Haayy!

Madami ding kakaiba. Lalo na yung CR as in kubeta! Kaloka! Squat position! Hahaha!

Another statue worth the pose. Need I say more?

Here naman, college pose nya to -

Ooohh there's elephant din pala. Mukha lang syang statue pero buhay yan.

Ok! The rest we have here din naman sa Pinas. So we went to our next destination na. Pero before that, D was so amazed by this rider. He's wearing leather shin guard daw. We cannot wear that in Pinas kasi mainit.

So we're in the Beijing Olympic Park next. It was built specifically for the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Di na kami pumasok. Here's the Bird's Nest -

And Water Cube!

After this, we rode the subway again to Beijing proper so we can get this shot of the Hi-way -

Then before going back to the hotel, we ate hot pot of course!

After a very fulfilling dinner, we dropped by our friend's house for a cup of tea. We will be leaving the next morning so we chatted for hours.

We really had a nice stay in China. Super enjoyed it to the max! Will we come back again? Of course! Maybe Shanghai next time? Or Xiamen? We'll see.

Yosh
